DuckDuckGo used to be better and more privacy based, but after using Bing for a while I decided to go back, I seldom use StartPage but that engine puts about 3 or 4 ads on top the results which is annoying as hell.
DDG is the evil I know.
I haven't found it lacking besides the leadership comments.
I'll use Google Image search occasionally if I can't find what I'm looking for.
Usually I already know what I'm looking for.
TIL, Kagi. It seems to be doing well in this poll. I checked it out and it looks interesting. I'm not sure I 100% get it. It's a paid search engine. It seems to have good results from what I saw. But so do a lot of others. It comes out to around 2 cents per search.
It's hard to judge how much better or worse it is based on a few searches especially when I didn't actually need to search for something.

Mostly Startpage which is just a Google frontend. I also sometimes use DuckDuckGo and Brave, but the results aren't as good.
Unfortunately I haven’t found anything better than google.
