Apparently the CIA uses signal internally. Which really shows what I've been saying for quite a while. Signal is secure and telegram is a joke. Telegram is only popular because of the feds pushing it exactly because it's an insecure app with secure branding. Whereas signal has proper end to end encryption and the operators can't decode the content. Telegram is able to block groups for something as small as copyright infringement precisely because they have access to the data. And yet people want to use it like it's a secure app. If copyright law can be imposed on it it's not secure.
