It's a coding project of mine. It gives the user fine control over the sorting algorithm, mostly because that's something I wanted to do. One of the optional factors is "position" which is based on what you like according to your upvotes and downvotes. That concept was Aaron Swartz's original idea for Reddit so I thought I would make it happen.
We generally try to attract technical people and other creatives.
Oh, the other interesting thing about the sort is that one of the factors is bump making it kind of a hybrid between a reddit like site and 4chan. But in the custom sort drop down you can set how much you want it to behave like one or the other.
Don't know if it's possible, but this post might be worthy of pinning - or, I could start a Gvid article and FAQ on Projex to link to sort all related, interesting posts, and discussions here.
The sliders need explanations, individual or in a summary paragraph, beside them or via a [?] link.
