And there are multiples of millions. You are never going to deport them all. Deportation is not the answer. You have to find some way to make them self-deport. They got themselves here. They can get themselves out. It's the only cost effective way to do it.
I think one option is to deport to Haiti. Then they will want to self-deport before we can get to them. That or just cut off all benefits, don't require ERs to take care of them or a treatment last demand on ERs. Everything we do has to be domestic policy that makes them leave. Spending significant money per deportation can't work. You have to find a way that spending less money also happens to make them leave. I think I found it.
There are probably a lot of ways to not spend money that will make them leave. Don't give them a public defender. Don't give money to colleges that will accept them. Don't permit them in section 8 housing. Just come up with every excuse to not hand out money and you'll be shocked how fast they will disappear. If that doesn't remove at least a million (for free) I'd be shocked.
Maybe improve and encourage citizens' arrests, rights, and community efforts and resources (though I suspect this "justice" may get sour quickly and too frequently into abuses). These new jobs may not be respectable for long, if ever. The warp-speed over-ground railroad.
Further, nip it in the bud. What gave them the idea they could come? Stop the CIA or whoever from perpetuating their mythical messaging in their native lands. Better than stop, reverse the message and make it scary to come. Tell them how Rachel Maddow is subverting everything wholesome and drinking babies' blood.
