A lot of information is still stuck on Reddit, and with them blocking VPNs ever more aggressively, it may be necessary to use an alternative front-end. To this day I find it a good way of getting information, because in spite of their bullshit, most of the information there still develops organically from knowledgeable people answering questions (instead of formulaic or entirely generated articles that were written mostly with SEO in mind). This is a tool for a freer web that lands you on a random Redlib instance, and you can integrate it into the Firefuck search bar as well. It compliments the random searx instance quite well, which helps people avoid jewgle. (And there are Searx instances that redirect Reddit hits to Redlib like tiekoetter, or at least it was like that during the Libreddit era.) @JasonCarswell
Mullvad is the most acclaimed VPN provider there is. I'm not familiar enough with Swisscows. I do find it sus that they provide a supposedly private messaging app but it's completely proprietary.
So it's just an alternative front end? I though reddit was blocking data exfiltration? Or at least large scale exfiltration without it being financially inviable.

I used searx for a while until I switched to swisscows.
Honestly the quality of the results on Searx isn't so good. I use Mullvad Leta which pulls in results from both Brave and jewgle.
I never heard of them honestly. I really like swisscows tho.

Oh wait I know what it is now. Mullvad is the duck VPN.
Their logo is a mole.
Must be thinking of another vpn. It's one that is compatible with Linux distros.
Seems to be based on "Redlib" from the footer link:

Ah okay. Perhaps they needed to fork it after the apipocalypse.

Yeah idk the technical details but apparently they can still do it.
