POMF =3 - Know Your Meme
About. POMF is a sound effect and onomatopoeia describing the sound someone makes as they fall onto a bed or a similar surface. It is commonly described through the symbol =3 and combined with the catchphrase "What are we gonna do on the bed?
Pomf is a simple lightweight file host with support for drop, paste, click and API uploading.
Please note that the development of this codebase has been surpassed by Uguu. As a result, Pomf should be regarded as outdated since this code has not received updates for quite some time.
Uguu offers the identical appearance and functionality to Pomf, with the exception that you can skip the file expiration configuration during setup to achieve the same functionality.
Would it be of any help to the Cassandra Team or our causes to host a pomf instance? Could it be more trouble than it's worth? (abuse, bandwidth, illegal content, storage, etc.) Better on a VPS or indie-server?
What's with the .moe domain? LarryCurly.Moe?
@x0x7, would you like me to create another Projex account you can use until you find/fix the password on your "X0x7" user? I could create one, or all of these (X0x8, X007, Admin_x0x7), or something different.
Yes. I don't think I'll ever get that account recovered. Is there a way you could just delete the old user? I've done x0x8 before as a secondary but if we can delete x0x7 so we can re-make it that would be awesome. Otherwise I'll gladly take x0x8. In fact, yeah, x0x8 is great.
If I understand MediaWiki correctly, deleted stuff (user, pages, etc.) can still be recovered. I don't know it they expire after a time and then it's impossible to recover - or if they remain in the database taking up space for eternity. If I deleted it and we tried to restore it things might be more complicated. That's why I've not yet tried to delete and try again.
Ideally there would be a way for the admin to reset a password. IIRC a user can request a reset if they register with an email. Most do not.
Name: X0x8 (not x0x8 "Your username will be adjusted to "X0x8" due to technical restrictions.")
Pass: Freedom!
Change password under "Preferences" at top right of all pages.
Wow. 216,798 edits on 178 pages. Thousands were bots with pages but they're all deleted (whatever that means).
Edit:
I can delete pages.
I cannot delete users (that I know of). You can block them for periods, including indefinite. I'd like to delete all those who are blocked.

TIL: What does pomf mean?
