On the surface, A Nightmare on Elm Street seems like a commercial movie geared at large audiences. Well, it is, of course. But like many of those, it does have a deeper layer. What this film is great at capturing is the feeling that you're in a nightmare that just goes on and on, and then it feels like you're waking up and can be relieved, but then you discover it's ongoing! Have you ever felt like this?

A similar thing happens with sleep paralysis. I've experienced that a few times. But it sounds like you mean that your actual life is a nightmare. What would you say is your most recurring problem in life?

Inability to actualize myself. Although with the topic I mean to reference a certain feeling, like people coming after you and you're just not sure if it's real or not.

I'm very close to getting my task management system on web (it normally works in a terminal). IDK, maybe it will help. It was built to help me with a similar problem.

It definitely sounds cool.

Welcome to the managed decline.

Picture our great noble leader, "Follow me!", at the prow of the boat pointing forward with the wind tussling his hair. Everyone else on board is there, "Oh yes, great Western leader," except the one at the back by the fountainous spray, "But we're sinking!"
