I liked his Game of Thrones reviews, which examinedall aspects of the story, TV series, book, characters, etc. And he's done a lot of reviews since then. And this review is hilarious. I also agree that it shouldn't be so easy to destroy the Enterprise. It appears to be written for pubescent weaklings, which might be good for them, but the crew looks weak and uninteresting. Why pander to that. I've not yet wartched it, so IDK. I also don't want to look at unattractive people, or at least those I can't relate to. And poor Paul Giamatti looks like he's been rolling in his own shit, and has to embarrass himself with those stupid lines.

But the review is missing entirely an understanding of the Star Trek timeline, story and other spinoff series stories. The review focuses mainly on appearances, not the evollution of the Star Trek stories. If we want to know about this latest series and how it fits within the Star Trek universe, we'll still have to try to watch it, perhaps at 1 am, when we can't be bothered to complain so much about fat people.

Wow just had this playing!

As usual Drinker is spot on. This show is going to be a train wreak. Right up there with the She-Hulk show a few years ago. Like he said who is this show even geared to? Certainly not fans.

Still I somehow see this being forced into multiple seasons ...somehow... probably just out of spite and hatred of men.
