On SaidIt we suggested and they came up with a link-recognizer thing - and every time you cross-posted in more than one sub (or metatag), or posted something already shared, then it would mention/link the mirrors so you could check out the other subs' discussions. I kept suggesting to no avail that one way or another that mirrored videos on different platforms and links also be recognized. For example, IIRC some video IDs are the same on YouTube as they are on BitChute or Rumble. Another thing and example is that a YouTube video url = a YouTu.be video url and a YouTube video with a timestamp is just the same link with extra info. It would be nice to include the different video platforms (including archives and less-mainstream/fringe platforms) for future reference when they try censoring everything.
