I heard that on the radio a couple days ago. When I mentioned on Reddit that each of these missile batteries costs $1 billion, and the recent ones destroyed were in Qatar and Kuwait, I was told by a military person that there is no way they destroyed a missile battery which has several significant components, etc. and noticed a few hours later I was downvoted to -1. I added an 'edit: the BBC did not make that up, it is indeed what each missile battery costs....' and later that evening I noticed there were numerous upvotes for the comment. This little social experiment was informative to me that many in the US did not get that information about the costly losses at Middle East US military bases, and that Iran could continue doing that for years, with their Chinese missiles &c. It's been known for decades that Iran could always play the long game in a war, regardless of the $tens of billions of US tax dollars spent on Israel's evil bombing errands. Meanwhile, the current US government has added $37 Trillion in debt during 2 Trump presidencies, none of which benefitting the 99%, and indeed, will cost each taxpayer $tens of thousands in the coming years, paying treasury bond interest to China (&c).

Wow. That is hideous. Thanks!

I should correct my comment to include the Biden Admin: The U.S. national debt has increased by roughly $20.7 trillion since 2017, rising from about $19.4 trillion to over $39.1 trillion.
