No it just weakens the signal. Things like fios or 5G are way more powerful than you need. Only things like certain online video games need fast internet and you should connect to an Ethernet for that. Better yet don't use WiFi at all but that's not convenient.
One of these months I'm going to source some good Faraday gear (no cages). Pouches/bags/cases/boxes for keys, phones, tablets, laptops, as well as hoodies, hats, etc. to protect against car-battery drains, wallet hackers, snooping governments, and military weapons.

The word cage is a hint. Seriously you might want to get one, very cheap on Amazon, it might be why you keep getting sick.
