I just watched an interesting video about how scientists just mapped where new connections form in the brain when taking shrooms. Apparently it increases sensory connections and our connection with reality and reduces connections where we formulate narratives about ourselves.
Then not a complete shocker, the where and how much of new connections are impacted by what areas of the brain are active during the trip. Which is good to know because if people are trying to use psychadics for therapy you probably shouldn't layer standard therapy on top of it where you talk about those problem because you would just be reinforcing those pathways harder.
