Microsoft will throw it's weight around and browbeat everyone into submission again if and when they want, just like they did with every last version of doze.

I almost want to sign up for Windows 11 just to write over it all with Linux - but I don't give a shit.

But now more people are tech savvy than ever, more are aware of options, the options have improved, and the tyranny is more obvious.
In the early 2000s folks liked their Win2K and WinXP.
