I might try this again.

Not sure how the free trial works.

Can likely find a pirate version.

CeltX was great, open-source a long time ago - until they closed it for money. :(

Why does it say "toast", seen no where on that page?
Maybe replace image with the logo. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Scrivener+logo&iar=images

You can use it for 30 days that don't have to be consequetive. Every day you open the program counts as one of the 30 but if you don't use it every day, you can use it for months. That's really generous. Additionally, there's an Appimage of an older version for GNU/Linux. That works on any distro, is open-source, and free forever. It must be noted however that their old format, which that version uses, is incompatible with the newer one. Files created in Scrivener are forward compatible but not backwards to my knowledge, so the files you create under Windows cannot be opened on the GNU/Linux version (but the other way around works, it will offer to convert it and then further changes become inaccessible under GNU/Linux).

You can always extract the underlying .rtf files.

Trelby and Manuskript are good alternatives for CeltX (which was indeed a good program, I used it during the open-source period as well).
