Parasitic infections are sometimes misdiagnosed as cancers, and they can also spread similarly in the body. Alkaline blood pH won't cure parasitic infections, so it's another variable to consider.
Also, the remnants of dead parasites can cause shock to the body, for somewhat obvious (and nasty) reasons. Healing cancer doesn't cause this shock.
