I had friends in Vancouver, BC, and at Burning Man who would set up a portable lemonade-like stand with sign saying something like "Random Guerrilla'd Cheese" and they'd make and give them away. It was one of their many interactive expressions of generosity and community. The City of Vancouver didn't like that - and eventually for no good reason(s) government officials forced Burners to no longer openly freely share food.
