I would love for these to get debugged, plugnplay simple, and popular as fuck.
I've been talking/dreaming about this kind of B.A.T.M.A.N. thing for years with freedom folks. I just don't have the tech skills to do it myself.
Imagine if you could set up a city-wide network (maybe with a kind of VPN layer?) to share resources (ie. info, media, movies, music, tutorials, etc.) freely.
I can see the federal government banning it, because their Prism device that captures data in packets going through your ISP will be foiled. They already damaged PGP by putting the company out of business and being bought out by Symetric. So it had to go open source as GNUPG.
