I use a 12T USB Hard Drive by Western Digital for my backups.

I do it the half-assed way every 2-3 years when I install a new distro. No fancy RAID array or cloud storage. I just copy my files and music to a flash drive or SD card. The transfer times are painfully slow and storing valued data onto volatile memory is a gamble...But at least there's some redundancy since I've made backups on more than one card.

I should have bought more hard drives first - but I bought 2 5-bay raids and a 5-bay DAS, and one of these days I'm going to fill it with my old 4tb drives, though new 20tb drives was the original goal.

I use Dropbox and Onedrive in addition to my USB hard drive.
