I know an illegal Ukranian. He's a draft dodger. Both of his parents already died in the war. If he wanted to go back and fight he would. But he doesn't want to do that because that is retarded and will have no purpose besides his own death.
That's the one thing I don't like about these deportations is I have to think about that one guy. We'd be sending him to his death over a war we should be helping to end. Specifically we should be helping to end it because we want fewer guys like him dying for no reason. Given the fact that he skirted conscription for so long they would send him immediately to the front. That's some BS. Telling folks from functional countries that they need to go live with their own people in their own country where they can make all the same opportunities for themselves if they are industrious enough, that's cool. Sending a European from a war torn country to certain death over immigration policy. Not cool.
We should honestly just give him citizenship because he's a cool dude and so he can dodge conscription permanently, because we should really want that for him.
What do you guys say? Amnesty for Ukranians? That would be a good kick in the crotch to MSM. At the same time that we start mass deportations we do immigration amnesty for European countries. At this point we should just be explicit about it because I want to hear them kvetch more.
Remember when we blocked travel from Muslim countries. They didn't like that. Just openly say we are doing amnesty for European countries. They'll say that's an open dictatorship. Because letting people we do like stay here is dictatorship apparently.
Seriously though. A decent friend of mine will die to a fucking drone in a retarded meat grinder if we don't do something. I have to talk to this guy on the regular like life is normal. Meanwhile he has an exploding drone hanging over his head.
Fuck if we deport anyone to Ukraine.
There are so many Ukrainians in Canada. I've had Ukrainian coworkers and they're nice and hard-working people. I've no qualms with them seeking refugee status. They integrate well and contribute positively to our communities.
Maybe I should tell him to skip the border and go there if Canada isn't deporting them. Are these illegal Ukrainians?
How did he arrive here? Is it safe to assume he wouldn't meet the criteria for asylum, or is that an option?
It seems Canada is accepting everyone who isn't Canadian. It might be a good option.
He should explore every avenue possible. He's theoretically a war refugee.
He definately came to the US before the war broke out. But in theory what military aged male wouldn't meet the criteria for asylum from Ukraine? Isn't the criteria basically that if you go to your home country you have a high likelihood of meeting violence?
There's multiple types of asylum, so he should look into it.
Also, avoid discussion of your friend on this forum, as those behind the war are in opposition to uncensored debate in an open forum.
They may try to identify this person to retaliate against you. It's a possibility.
We are in the middle of a jobs, and housing crisis.
We are fucking full, dude.
