WASHINGTON D.C. - FEBRUARY 12, 2025 -

Progress has been made at the Capitol today with final speeches being made by the GOP - as so represented by George Santos, ranking Congressional member - in regards to the recent Epstein files and the progress made by the legislature on them, including the recent pardon issued to Ghislaine Maxwell (pictured above).

The quote is as follows:

Let me tell you who I'm grateful to:

These five brave women: Marjorie Greene (now a fugitive on the run), Nancy Mason, Sarah Palin, Amy Klobuchar, and Lauren Boebert.

They have been threatened and intimidated. Politically, it's disgusting, and not by the far left. They've been intimidated by people in our own party, and for what?

For seeking justice for this victim. So I take my hat off to them. I congratulate them for standing firm. I've always wondered where the Republicans were during this battle. It's taken us five months.

These five women and I have had to drag our party into this chamber today just to vote on this, and Massey is the one we should be most grateful to here. In an extraordinary display of bipartisanship, he didn't hesitate when I asked him if we wanted to bring this bill to the floor together. If he were in the trenches with me, he would.
