You know I was prepared to live with a narrative in my head Trump was the lesser of two evils but that I would oppose him once he was in office instead of failing to come to terms with the cognitive dissonance of favoring one and then opposing them later (like most people do).
But now that is not enough. Trump really may have been the worse option. In fact I'm sure of it now. Maybe sleepy joe isn't so bad. The Gaza rebuild, the helping pipe money to Project Stargate that wants AI monitoring of the world, the tariffs, the bullying companies and then saying the state should take ownership of half because it wrecked a company, CBDC, wanting to send people to foreign prisons where the guards aren't under the jurisdiction of the constitution and can't be prosecuted under US law when they do criminal things.

There is so much confusing misinformation here I think its intentional. CDBC is not a Trump thing for one.
But I don't want to rebut your points. I know people this confused IRL too. The fact that Americans are so utterly confused about what is actually going on is intentional. So much so that I believe the differences are now irreparable.
This is why I believe that the US has already culturally Balkanized. Continued existence as a single nation is now impossible. Would you disagree?
