"While Justin Trudeau’s political career was fading, Donald Trump drove the final nails into the Canadian leader’s coffin" (The Australian Newspaper).

"Fading"?

It was already pulp - not just beating a dead horse, it was a special kind of bureaucratic trans-tyranny feminist night-mare propped up by corruption to barely make it this far.

Polymarket went from 96% he's out in 2025 to 100% earlier today, and it happened all at once.

So I think that's a sign there is a yes. There is something real to this news.

The inescapable election this year would certainly destroy the Liberals.

Yet he bailed early for some reason and escaped the humiliation of an epic loss.

Many stocks and markets flipped today.

Crypto sure went up. Will his successor make a Canada strategic bitcoin reserve?

Honestly these countries should just accept taxes in bitcoin. That's another way to accumulate some bitcoin without having state entities openly speculating in that market, so I would prefer it.

Also, don't tell them, but it will sabotage their own fiat if they do that. But we won't tell them that part. Fiat has value really because of it's exclusive capacity to pay taxes. So if we can trick them into accepting other things as payment for taxes we can subvert the power of the printing press.

So yes, countries need strategic crypto reserves and they should do it via opening up options when paying taxes. Don't tell them our real intent on selling that idea. The libertarian world could win hands down by trying to encourage one simple blunder that the statists just might fall for. It's such a tricky to spot winning move that when or if it happens I don't even think most libertarians will know that the game just decided in their favor.

Inflation is another secret kind of tax.

Have you watched The Solari Report interview with the author of Hijacking Bitcoin? Profound, disturbing, and in some ways hopeful.

I just want something like Bitcoin's original purpose - not a (fallible Ponzi) virtual store of value, but an alternative currency.

What is the simplest easiest way to download and set up a Bitcoin wallet? I don't want to switch to something online but I fear I may have to. It's been years since I last updated its blockchain - and that took weeks to download and verify all 80+gb. I only had a couple hundred dollars worth 2 or 3 years ago. Wish I had that $39 worth (just shy of the $40 needed for ketamine) from 2013 that the feds stole when they scooped Silk Road - like 100 times the value now.
