I was thinking in terms of Israeli policies in general in the Middle East, with respect to their neighbors there, and, for some reason the song about women gossiping in Iowa, USA about 1900, from the musical "The Music Man", came to mind. The song is called "pick-a-little, talk-a-little", from its main line and chorus.

In terms of the Israelis, the correct paraphrase would I think be as follows:

Kill a little, talk a little

Kill a little, talk a little

Kill, kill, kill,

Kill a lot,

Talk a little more.

Doesn't this sound like a pretty accurate description, in terms of Israeli behavior with respect to their Arab neighbors, in general?

Indeed! (The Music Man is a great quaint classic.)

Last month I mentioned that it occurred to me that it would funny to take the movie Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, the movie trailer, and/or excerpts - then have people and/or A.I. re-write, re-record, and/or re-edit the dialogue to fit this new title: Faster, Zionist! Kill! Kill!

I don't know how to find that post/comment. I don't think anyone caught it or cared.

Well, you know when I went to high school, all schools produced productions of The Music Man, so, it naturally just came to mind observing the current activities of Israel in Syria! Slightly modified, of course.

"Pick a little" what?

The idea is that they're criticizing everyone, as people do when they gossip. Or, possibly, picking at corn or grain or bread, as birds do. Possibly both.

[ALMA]
Pick a little, talk a little, pick a little, talk a little
Cheep cheep cheep, talk a lot, pick a little more

[ALMA & ETHEL]
Pick a little, talk a little, pick a little, talk a little
Cheep cheep cheep, talk a lot, pick a little more

[ALL THE LADIES]
Pick a little, talk a little, pick a little, talk a little
Cheep cheep cheep, talk a lot, pick a little more
Pick a little, talk a little, pick a little, talk a little
Cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep

The idea is that these women are behaving rather like barnyard hens, when they gossip together. They could be picking at corn in the barnyard, or, they could be picking at the other hens. The "picking", is criticism during gossiping.
