It's more than that, it's a backdoor for gun control. No where in the bill of rights does it say the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed, unless you are in possession of this plant we say you can't have.
The Supreme Court agrees I guess so it's not infringed.
I think you shouldn't need a license. But if you do but it's easy to get that's fine.
Blue states always enact new gun laws and they know Supreme Court will strike them down but that'll take time and they can help nudge gun ownership down by making it a hassle.
