Larry tried to get double the amount cuz of two planes hitting. I wish we could see transcripts. Why didn't the insurance companies try to argue that it wasn't actually a terrorist attack? Or ask for proof if it was? Maybe that didn't matter cuz the insurance contracts language didn't specify whether Israel or the us govt might be the terrorists. They were arguing over what the word "occurrence" means. Or maybe the insurance companies didn't bother cuz they knew the Jewish judge would side with Larry anyway. Some of the insurers filed a law suit against Al qaeda aka Saudi Arabia. These are still going on as US judges seem like they'll delay them forever.
