I never saw an Avatar film. They use frequences in the music to make you depressed about the blue people. I am mentally ill and I don't need to be more depressed.
I have a box of t-shirts from Siggraph conferences I attended. Many of those shirts were never worn once. At least one of them (sometimes I got doubles) says Avatar on the front or back and Digital Domain on the other side. That was in the mid to late 90s, and Cameron was a major figure at DD. Nothing happened for a while. LotR came out and convinced him it was time. 2009 Avatar came out, but it wasn't made at DD.
