I mainly vote for things that I've not seen before. If I'm on my own I never watch a movie, so this has been broadening my horizons.
I could be tempted to vote for Barbarella, except that I fucking hate Jane Fonda
That's fair. I've done that before. What if we all vote for things we want to see and haven't. But if someone has seen it before and it sucks they help us out and downvote it. Someone has to save us from our curiousity.
Part of me wants to see that "Loving Vincent" film. The title isn't one I'd normally go for. But it's impressive to me that they hand painted every frame of it. Plus when else am I going to see that kind of film? But that is exactly the kind of film that could suck and could have an 8/10 rating just from sympathy votes for how much work they did.
I just voted for it becauase I think I've forgotten much of it. Not that it was so memorable, lol, but because it's the kind of strange popular dumb film that would be fun to discuss. So it has my vote, even if I'm not necessarily 100% committed to it like I've been for other movies.
We might be able to get her out to the next one. We'll have one next week. I have been mostly away from upgoat. I decided it's better to distance myself from their general vibe. There are better vibes to say yes to.

She was good in that and On Golden Pond.

If we watch "Loving Vincent" I can guarantee I'll be quoting Don McLean's song throughout
I'd like to watch Destino (Disney meets Dali) at some point
In 2007 at some big L.A. art gallery they had a huge Dali/Disney exhibit. It was spectacular.

Oh shoot. Can you tell Helena I said hi and I'm okay since I'm locked out of upgoat?
