Nice catch. The poll embeds some javascript and I think the poll javascript must have bound to and overrode the comment vote buttons. This really was a hot launch of the new polls. They had existed for all of an hour before I decided to put it out on the internet.
Yeah. I need to figure out what's going on. I think more than voting double somehow prior votes are dying. WTF. The way I built it every vote is logged so I'll be able to figure out A, what happened, and B what the real scores should be.
It's based on state translation. So translate the complete log better and everything is fine.
