I'm slowly making these more fancy. This time we have imdb links. This poll will likely last a while so it's worth voting on something even if it doesn't win because we'll watch 2nd place the next week and so on (as long as it's positive). Suggest movies for the next poll in the comments, and it will likely make it into the next one. Thank you everyone who made suggestions in the last one. Any movie suggested with an IMDB score >=6.3 will be added to the next one. (Every user gets one suggestion under 6.3).
We meet for movie night every Saturday (9pm EST) here: https://cytu.be/r/matrixhub
Edit: We have already watched 1984 (1984 version), The Grapes of Wrath, Blazing Saddles, Terminator 2, They Live, Predator, V for Vendetta, Max Headroom, and Invasion of the Body Snatcher (1978 version).

Last Of The Mohicans is fucking EPIC! - Great director, great story, great screenplay, great cinematography, great history, great cast, great score (love Daniel Lanois et al) - all around epic.
Lately I've been wanting to go back and re-watch some of the best American Indian movies

Little Big Man (1970) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065988/

Long time no see Vanta!
I like your theme.
Glad to see you, Jason!
Nice!
Please, infinite votes to be able to weigh in on all the options.
Perhaps allow me to edit the list, add the dates, ranking, Wikipedia article, IMDb, OpenMovieDataBase, logline/elevator pitch summary, reviews, trailers, metatags, etc. Sortable tables would be nice to sort according to rank, name, IMDb, year, etc. Also, strike through to indicated it's been GoatViewed™.
Honestly, the pop movies are boring. Not only have I seen them to death, I'm getting nothing new out of them. New-to-us movies with high ratings will not be a waste of time. Even if we don't like the movie, genre, actors, cinematography, or whatever - if it's high quality there's still something to be gained from it.
We should have had some good Black movies for February.
Three truth-seekers' Irish movies for March (St. Patric's Day), reviewed by me on SaidIt in 2018 : Black '47 (2018), The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006), and Hidden Agenda (1990).
A fun movie recommendation: It's All Gone Pete Tong (2004) - Frankie Wilde is a [coked up hallucinating] British music producer and DJ based in Ibiza. After years of playing in nightclubs he loses his hearing... Mayhem ensues.
It would be good to have some anti-woke and resistance May movies for "May WE Awaken!" month.
Fun movie recommendations for June, Pride Month: The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994), To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1995), Moulin Rouge! (2001)
Mean Mother (1973)
Video Vixens (1975)
Death Among Friends (1975)
Bonnie's Kids (1972)
De Düva: The Dove (1968)
What's Up, Doc? (1972)
Paper Moon (1973)
From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler (1973)
Young Frankenstein (1974)
High Anxiety (1977)
The Cheap Detective (1978)
The Muppet Movie (1979)
Simon (1980)
History of the World: Part I (1981)
Scrabbled Feet (1983)
Clue (1985)
An American Tail (1986)
Nixon (1995)
Very interesting and eclectic list! Hadn't heard of half - and I've heard of a lot.

After Hours is superb.
Thanks for the links. The years and IMDb rating would be good for the lazy.
Looks like I'll make it this eve. Likely gonna be busy with a new/old job Monday onward.
Why is there a voting limit? Why not have everyone rate as many or even all if they like?
Doctor Zhivago is a classic within the Russian rise of communism by David Lean. Also noteworthy the making of extras.
Richard Grove was saying that Ishtar (1987) though a terrible movie was quite fascinating in respect to its geopolitical context. Never saw it.
Space Truckers (1996) looks terribly campy but might be fun to rip on. Never saw it, never even heard of it until last week.
Modern stuff I came across recently that may or may not be worth seeing:
If folks like "Too Many Cooks" the short available on YouTube, then they might like Yule Log - made by the same company AdultSwim.
The Goonies
People's downvotes are retarded as evidently they don't know what they're downvoting.
Maybe I'll get posters added in but the imdb scraper I was using wasn't making it as easy as I wanted.
Maybe try the TheMovieDataBase and/or OpenMoveDataBase API?
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=OpenMoveDataBase
Also more data might be nice. Year, IMDb rating, genres, stars, directors, etc.
Star Trek .... 1?
The one I have there is the 2009 one. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0796366/
Oh the Kelvin universe 1, much better than ToS movies.
Er ist Wieder Da (Look Who's Back) 2015

On May Day I always recommend The Wicker Man
(the good 1973 version, not the Nicolas Cage garbage)
