Synopsis for Snatch: Unscrupulous boxing promoters, violent bookies, a Russian gangster, incompetent amateur robbers, and supposedly Jewish jewellers fight to track down a priceless stolen diamond.

Synopsis for Midsommar: Several friends travel to Sweden to study as anthropologists a summer festival that is held every ninety years in the remote hometown of one of them. What begins as a dream vacation in a place where the sun never sets, gradually turns into a dark nightmare as the mysterious inhabitants invite them to participate in their disturbing festive activities.

Let's poll for the order because I know people have schedules. Which should be first?

New category?: Rewatchable films that people might like to discuss

    Nice. I added it.

Upvote it if you want it.

    We're already doing that.
    Good movies become popular.
    Popular movies get seen.
    Then seen again.
Then seen again for those who haven't caught up.

How about this new category: "Allegedly good movies no one has seen yet." With the caveat that you have to be present at showtime to vote.

I was given two movie posters last summer: Metropolis and Taxi Driver. The former is in poor condition, the latter okay - wish it were reversed.

Metropolis (1927) [2h33m, Drama/Sci-Fi, IMDb 8.2/10, Rotten 97%], is German but not a foreign language film - it's silent. But there are various soundtracks added https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metropolis_(1927_film) .

The first was exceptionally original. The latter is original.

A friend is performing in a local Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead. I'm hoping to see it, but may not.
