The new schedule is Friday is TV night and Monday is movie night. 8pm East for both.
I'd like to rotate the show we watch on Friday, maybe an every other sort of deal. We've watched Always Sunny so far. But I'll leave it up to you guys what we watch.

Also we should narrow down the selection for Monday, so let's narrow it to Logan's Run, Batman, and Shanghai Noon

See if you can find the BBC TV show "The Detectorists"...

Can we switch Monday from a movie night to a communal prayer night, and we can all vote on what to pray for?
I feel like most people spend Monday nights inside anyway, and would prefer communing with the Lord in these trying times.
I feel like we should just do whatever Theo says just for the journey to see where it takes us.
I was shit-posting when I made that suggestion, but then I actually thought about the idea, and liked it, so I started a Thursday night prayer sub over on Poal.

I think we got a solid 5-7 people committed to communal prayer tonight at 9:00 PM, EST.
All are welcome, and if anyone is interested in starting a communal prayer group here, we could do it on Wednesdays.
I thought Poal banned everyone. I didn't realize anyone was left.
Every day of the week is also Atheists' time to do nothing religious at all.

New idea, I think:
From the Long Movie Vote List, everyone should pick their top fave movie, even if it's not at the top, and write a compelling blurb about why we SHOULD watch it. I suppose folks could even write blurbs about why to NOT watch a movie too.
Then in a new Short Movie Vote List made up of only movies that had blurbs written about them, we may then vote on the winner.
Why? To know why we're even watching these movies, to learn what folks like, dislike, genres, media analysis, or whatever reasons compel us, to raise participation levels, and build community.
Will it work? We won't know if we don't try.
