When I started writing this post I was initially not going to come with examples and just see what you guys would say without my input.

But I decided to inspect a few ideas visually and document them.

One issue is that if I make it savable from the front page it might look weird saying '1 comment save'. Then I realized this will look different depending if someone has the 'username on right' theme (which I run).

It also needs to look right if it's their own post and there are also options to edit and delete.

Then I also experimented with and idea of having '...' be like a drop down menu you could open. And then a similar idea of using a caron (opposite of a carot) to indicate a menu.

I decided to put this in a poll format, one because I want to test images in polls, two because it will randomize the order and I don't really want to present these in any order. I don't know if voting on them will be productive or not because some of the options will result in a few of these cases depending on if they are OP. I'm more interested in your thoughts than your votes.
