I just rolled out a feature that shows you how many new comments a post has since you last looked at it.
It’s just plain useful. Everyone likes knowing at a glance if there’s fresh activity.
Our front page sorting algorithm is a hybrid of Reddit + 4chan. That means old posts can (and do) bubble back to the top. But if you’ve already clicked into a post once, you’re probably not going to click in again unless you know there is something there. Well now you know.
What I want to do next:
Let me know your thoughts, and suggest new features. Appreciated!
