I guess I was going for a kind of mellow look before. But it was so mellow you could miss it. Well now you definately can't miss it. A cache reset may be needed to see the change.
Update 2: I made it so the first comment in a thread gets two initial points.
This will encourage more people to participate in being the first to comment on something. I debated making it one or two. We can always tune it down if we need to.
This is one of those features where I programmed it to turn itself off after a week and we can decide if it was beneficial and turn it back on.
Maybe for consistency I'll add that to the others.
I know. But I don't want to make multiple dev posts a day. I tend to do it in waves. That way I'm not only doing one thing for comments a day, if I touch it that day, because some of the more important things on the agenda are really tiny details. But I also don't know how many comment related things I'm going to do by the end of the day.
So we might get more than one update in a dev posts, in seperate comments to bump the visibility when new info is in it. Pretty much just stuff that happened that day, or things directly related to things in the thread if later.

I can see my cursor better this way, before it kind of blended in.
Update: I also made getting to your own comments really easy. It's now in the sidebar.
This is worthy of a separate post, really.
