I don't know if we can guarantee that we will always meet your emotional sensitivity needs. But you've survived upgoat. We have far fewer assholes, or at least more moderate assholes.
That's one of the reasons why I've emphasized this site being more of a tech forum than voat. You don't really need to be a tech person to be hear. The broader reason is that I want users that offer something to their fellow users. If being an asshole is the only thing someone brings to the table then they aren't someone I'm actively trying to get. And that's about 50% of voat sadly. We try to keep user drama pretty much at zero here and we're pretty successful at it. My goal is really to create someone more like early early voat, nearly around the Whoaverse days. Unique perspectives and interests should be common.
