Ruins the new page and dilutes people who might want to discuss it.

Ban it. And ban the people who do it. And ban their children and their childrens children and their bot programmers.

I think it's lame as is too - but it's his best solution for metatags. I think it's silly and deceptive to do it for fake bloat too - and dislike the idea of multiple discussions missing each other for the same content, even if one day this site finds growth enough for actual separate sub communities (possible, but unlikely in our globalist world of centralizing power). I cross-post in hopes that one day he can figure out how to actually effectively utilize metatags. Why? For future researchers seeking information. (((They))) collect crazy amounts of data on us - and we need better tools for data and metadata to better resist their tyranny. I'm just trying to help. Stay fresh.

Q4E. Would be easy to fix this by letting the Sub field allow a comma-separated list and the very same page appears in multiple subs, while the frontpage and profile pages never show duplicates (but just show the one entry and the entire list of subs it was posted to). Can we have this pl0x?

It also help fill out subs so if someone visits a sub they are more likely to see content. It probably only makes sense to target pretty generic subs someone might actually type though. Or if you get multiple posts to that sub then someone could navigate to it from one post to another.

You see filling out subs for content, I see attempt to fill out subs to make site look big when data is just artificially duplicated.

Huh, interesting - I'm using custom sort 0,5,0,0,0 (that's the proper /new, /new from menu mixes some algo sorting as /user/x0x7 said) and not seeing multiple posts.

UPD Apparently it still counts as front page and deduplication is on.
