Upon sign in, I was prompted to input an email address, and even though it made it clear that it's optional, it complicated posting. I tried to just skip it at first but it wouldn't work. So I clicked on the logo to get to the front page, hoping to just ignore it, but when I tried to post, I received a popup saying "please log in to post". It turned out I had to properly send the blank form for the email address, and then I could post again.
Does anyone else have this problem? It'd be sad if users bounced because they thought they couldn't post. Perhaps it'd be good to just leave the email as an option upon registering, without bothering already registered users with it.
So "[email protected]" didn't work - or do you need to verify the optional email?
Oh oops. I go by larryswinger2 on Saidit and now under a new browser I had to login again. I thought I was logging in when in reality I was registering a new account. Ignore the post.
I prefer the old LarrySwinger.
LarrySwinger2 holds too many traumatic memories from SaidIt.net.
