Imagine picking up a job that drives you to suicide. Imagine letting recruiters for that job visit a facility full of children to guilt them to sign up by manipulating their emotions and sense of duty. Too young to understand that the military doesn't actually protect our freedoms. Too young to understand that just because someone puts that label on something it isn't necissarily what's in the can.

In IT, you have to be like a butler and take a lot of abuse. It is very stressful, but you have to treat each employee as a customer and not fight back. Some say it is like being in the military, with the stress levels. You have to solve problems and work under deep stress, and keep a smile on your face.

Still, it is nothing like being in combat, where you see blood and guts and almost get killed several times. A brother-in-law of mine was in Vietnam. He said he saw one friend get killed to the left of him and saw another friend get killed to the right of him. Why he survived, he does not know.
