It makes an attempt on almost every page. Some sites don't want you to embed them. I've black listed the expando on a few sites I know it isn't going to work. It just removes the option if we know there isn't going to be a good result.
For some reason I'm betting it works with all of those. It seems to be the minority of sites that allow embedding. But I've gotten a feel or intuition for which ones will. I giving each of those (independently) about 70% odds.
