We didn't have Internet back then so Nintendo Power magazine was pretty much the only way you could have a detailed view of the maps. I've played other Zeldas but the first one I'd just watch my friend play. I'd give it a try but I have PTSD from that beeping when you're almost out of hearts/life.
It's actually the first time I've played it. I might start going through old games as part of my Sunday fun day. It's actually the first Zelda game I've played at all. Maybe I'll go through all of them.
Yeah. It's pretty good. I'm on dungeon 4. This one is a little annoying because I like stunning with the boomerang and being able to spam from a distance even when I don't have full power. But a lot of rooms are dark so I keep swapping my equipment to get the candle out.
