I have never watched a PTA film. His fanbois in the '90s were so obnoxious that I refused, then NPR embraced him as a genius, and then he made One Leftist Cliche After Another. I'm sure he's made good films, but my tastes run more toward exploitation trash whose makers never could afford pretension.
