It looks like he does have steam coming out. Does anyone have ideas on how easy that is to convert in a DIY setup? I know a thermocouple would be the lazy way to do it.
I love this guy. I've been following him for a few years now. One of these days I need to give one of his designs a try. He's at a higher latitude than me, so if it works for him, I should be able to get it to work as well.

I'm not 100% sure. I did look through his channel and didn't see anything obvious right away. But someone could dig deeper.
