Tell me if I'm wrong but because almost all animals get the flu don't all animals get the flu semi-consistently and so this is just an constant problem. There is always some amount of bird flu happening, and pig flu, and raccoon flu. At any time these could always jump species and end up pretty bad. It's all chance. I just don't see that we can take some variation in flu illness in something that's two hops away from us and predict anything that's probable from it, or more probable than the natural random.
Fucking hell people, you will get sick when you get sick. Get over it. And sometimes that means you will even die. Health degrades with time and when you actually die sure it will likely be some sickness that took you over the edge. Good 1/3rd chance on that or more. Eliminating or reducing disease isn't going to end death, or even change the timing much. If a flu doesn't get you then you'll keep eating lays chips and oreos and a cold will get you a few years later.
If everyone washes their hands and eats healthy the level of disease we are left with is nothing anyone can complain about or demand anything from anyone else over.
I'm pretty sure the zoonotic disease transmission notion is completely false in every capacity.
They do plenty of bird culling, but they never show what's wrong with them.
They just use a fake test like the COVID test and then kill entire populations.
