Apparently Binance engaged in a little to little KYC for US liking. It allowed some people to launder money, which they also could have done using cash.
He did some time. He's already out. But he is currently campaigning for a pardon. I'm not sure what he plans to get out of it. He is still pretty much the richest known figure in crypto. He is also a Canadian and UAE citizen. He can basically do what he wants. He is currently working on a DeFi system (distributed finance). But maybe if he had the pardon he'd start another centralized exchange or take back management of Binance.
Do you think he'll get it?
