Every time I close the browser I had to resign-in to this site. Am I missing something or is this not an option?

It's not a terrible issue but there have been a few times I just start browsing only to write a comment and realise I'm not signed in and have to do a copy and paste...

Just wondering if there is an option to remain signed-in.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked the local site settings as well as the browsers global settings and I'm not clearing 1st party cookies.(3rd party is blocked) I should mention I'm using Brave. I also tried lowing the "shields" on the browser as well as allowing "All cookies" and that did not work either.

Last, I tried using Firefox and have the same results. Both browsers remember my login credentials but I have to click on log in, user name and then the auto fill. Once I close the browser I have to repeat.

I can add that no other site requires this. Sites like Yahoo or Netflix auto sign me in no problem hence why I asked.

Other things I thought of is some strange Linux setting I'm unaware of or something to do with my ISPs provided router so I tried using my cell phone (Brave Browser as well) and both Wifi and on cellular data I still am required to sign back in after closing the browser. Kinda stumped on this one.

Seconded. Logins/sessions seem to last 24h max.

Go here: brave://settings/clearBrowserData

On the 'On exit' tab you want to check that cookies aren't selected. That might do it.

For me I just rarely close my browser. If I want to clear all tabs I open a new window and close the old one. I find that brave remembers your tabs otherwise and you get hit with a barrage the next time you open it otherwise.

The sign in here is as aggressive as possible at keeping you signed in. Your browser is clearing its cookies and there isn't much I can do about that. In theory I could store your credentials in indexdb or something that might persist harder (though it might not).

You could go into your browser settings and make it not clear cookies when closing the browser. If someone's browser is set that way then they probably want to be logged out of everything when closing their browser and I shouldn't circumvent that.

What browser do you use?
