Either way, shame on you. Shadow banning is for real actual dicks. And implementing software changes without testing in a separate environent is also for dicks. And for small browser RPGs because I used to do it all the time years ago.
I didn't ban you, and could not have banned you, but if anyone is banned from any part of goatmatrix, I would think that he/she should be informed of the ban and the reason for it.
As you don't already know x0x7, he's fair and level-headed, and you should know that would be out of character for him.
He'd call you out as gay, allowing you to correct course, with fair warning before banning anyone as a last measure.

My comment doesn't refer to x0x7. I answered OP's question. He asked if I and/or others on Matrix shadow banned him from the chat. I did not. I also note that anyone who is banned will hopefully be notified of a ban.
If you knew x0x7, you'd know he'd notify and give them a chance to correct their ways - stated on several occasions.
I don't think any of us can predict that kind of action. x0x7 could be Jesus Christ and still have various reasons or methods for a shadow ban that range from a mistake to warding off evil to killing everyone's first born. For example, I don't know of x0x7's private life or of how many people he's murdered, though I doubt he'd murder anyone, according to what little I know about him. Anyway, we're all relatively anonymous and even if we share information. Most importantly, I do not see x0x7's answer to the OP's very simple yes/no question here in the thread. This adds to the mystery. Does x0x7 work work for the World Economic Forum? Is he in the secret Order of the Knights Templar? Is he from another planet? I mean, you think you know someone, but....
It is easy to predict. Hes been around for a while and you can tell what sort of person he is. I am quite sure he hasnt murdered anyone, despite wanting to. Becuase that would mean he would have to leave the basement.

Last night I added PerpetualNegativeNancy YogurtFactory to my Block user "list". The only one. Nothing seemed to have happened. Despite wanting to ignore them, ideally in a greyed-out or [+] collapsed way, but I still see his posts and comments. Haven't been chatting enough to notice.
I also added a bunch of users to my Add as friend "list", but I have no list and no indication of anything changing or indicating friend from foe from nothing.
If x0x7 is chat admin, can he answer the question?
I did suspect it was due to his new blocking features.
if I remember right his chats disappeared before the block feature was rolled out
