Depends on which troop you get. Basically a franchise. Some groups are really good together... Others should have stayed home. I saw them twice first time was great... Second group just didn't have the interactive magic.
Agreed. I learned about them on CityTV in Toronto 30 years ago. Saw them in NYC too many times to count (when folks visited me) and even though they had the same scripted off-Broadway show on 2nd Ave it was always good, though some better than others - certainly the first exposure was the best. I saw them in California (with Moby, Busta Rhymes, and Bowie) but found their shtick wasn't as good for large crowds. Great original concept (now 30+ years old), great for franchising (freed up the creators who aren't required like "celebs"), not always greatest performances = all in all better than good.
Also very good: STOMP! and De La Guarda.
The OP video is just okay and not memorable. It could have been shot better and the building narrative developed better - as I've seen done before.
