It's like a juice except it's fruit purees. I've tried plenty of flavours and brands. Jumex, Shia, frex, fructal, yoga, and Goya are the brands I've tried. Flavours I've tried are strawberry banana, strawberry, strawberry apple grape, black currant, pear, guava, mango and gaunabana. Most nectars usually come from Latin America, North Africa, Southern Europe and Western Asia. Like yoga is Italian, frex is Bulgarian, fructal is Slovenian, jumex is mexican. There's plenty of more. If I have 1 litre drinks while working in retail I get most of my calories from there and don't really eat anything considering how filling they are.

Yeah. I used to have them a lot. I had no idea fructal is Slovenian. They sell it in the Hispanic area in white stores.

I used to make mango lasse often because it's just liquid protein. At least that's what I tell myself. Using one of those is a shortcut that doesn't require cutting a mango and blending it.

Uh, drinking one liter of fruit juice and getting zero calories from anything else is probably not healthy. One can of those is enough to sugar high me. But I'm pre-diabetic so I might be a little hyper-sensitive to sugar. That's why I'll make a lasse with only half a can and then rely on cardamom for the remaining flavor.

Don't worry. I do have some protein throughout my shift. I just don't eat a lot of other things when I have those. I have high protein foods with it. I also suspect insulin resistance but having a Mediterranean phenotype I've heard Southern Europeans have elevated risk of type 2 compared to Northern Europeans. So I probably shouldn't do that whoops lol.
