If you don't know what Advent of Code is, it's this thing that comes out every year. Starting on the first of December a programming problem is released every day until Christmas. They get progressively harder.
I'll be doing a lot of Advent of Code this year anyway because of an org I'm a part of IRL is doing it, and I'm co-leading an IRL group doing it.
So I might as well do that here too.
My suggestion is instead of waiting for Dec. 1 we just start with last years to get a feel for it.

Now the first few challenges are considered easy but for the full newbs I'd just suggest cheating and using chatgpt, no shame. I have doubts even chatgpt can get this first one in 1 shot so it's a good opportunity for low-code folks to learn how to manage chatgpt to work out a solution. This can develop the skills to use it to make code for them and that will get you more code exposure in general.
This is why I think everyone can participate. The non-coders would just use chatgpt.
You can also host code here: https://lab.gvid.tv/
The more lazy approach is to nest it in triple back-ticks in a post or comment.
Go ahead and give day 1 of 2023 a try.
