I posted this to /s/Projects, but maybe that is too specific. So we'll make this broad. So any improvement you've made to a project, an object, your setup, a dish, yourself.

I'm using LM Studio to load and train a handful of LLM agents, learning how they work through experimentation and iteration.

I had two pairs of Asics Gel DS trainers running shoes from around the 2015 - 2017 era. They were a top end shoe back then and I got them as a BOGO as they were being discontinued so I've been running on the same type of shoe for almost a decade now.

The time finally came to replace them and I went with the Asics Novablast 5. My god how things have changed in the world of running shoes... I was sceptical with these massive soled shoes but man what an upgrade! My average heart rate has dropped by 10-15 beats a minute and my runs feel effortless now. No tired legs, no presser points on my feet. Truly incredible the difference in technology over the lest 10 years.

A simple upgrade in footwear has made a huge difference.

LOL - I've run in Asics since the early 1980s - and yeah, I think they've improved a lot. That said, I also like to stick with the same models where possible. They're also so much more expensive. When I buy them, I hope I'm helping Vietnamese children afford to go to gradeschool.

I got sleep aptnia and I sleep too much. I've been trying to wake up earlier and I have the Insire Sleep device: http://inspiresleep.com/

I bought a Pixel phone as my BlackBerry Key2 was becoming unreliable in delivering notifications or supporting newer apps. Also the input method of it isn't so good. I got the phone for the keyboard of course but there is some exertion involved in pushing down the buttons, you get exhausted quickly. It isn't as good as the Bold 9900 keyboard. Meanwhile with a big screen I find writing on a touch screen mostly a joy nowadays. I just need to enable audio and haptic feedback.

I also setup a browser and chat client in the cli and I open those in tty1 now. This lets me escape distractions. I launch screen and split the screen so I have two clients visible in text only mode. Sometimes that's all I need.
